Blue Knights Add Elite 6'6 Guard Jordan Babcock from Hawaii
OLNEY, Ill. — Olney Central College Men’s Basketball is thrilled to announce the addition of Jordan Babcock, a 6'6 guard/wing from King Kekaulike High School in Hawaii, to the Blue Knights program.
Babcock brings a rare blend of size, skill, and scoring ability. Averaging 17.9 points per game as a senior, including multiple 30+ point performances, Babcock consistently showcased his ability to take over games with both his shooting and creativity off the dribble.
"Jordan has a unique skill set for his size. You don't find many 6'6 guards who can shoot it at an elite level and handle the ball like a point guard," said Head Coach Grayson Flittner. "His versatility fits perfectly with our up-tempo style and will allow us to create mismatches all over the floor."
An elite shooter with deep range and a quick release, Babcock commands attention from defenses the moment he crosses half court. But he’s far more than a specialist. His advanced ball-handling skills and feel for the game allow him to create offense for himself and others.
"He's a gym rat. He loves the game of basketball and puts the work in every day. That’s the type of mentality we’re building this program around," Coach Flittner added.
As the Blue Knights continue to build their program, the signing of Jordan Babcock marks another major step forward. His ability to stretch the floor, push the pace, and defend multiple positions adds instant impact on both ends of the court.
