Olney Central Signs All-State Guard Jaydon Eldridge from Missouri
Olney, IL – Olney Central College men’s basketball is thrilled to announce the addition of Jaydon Eldridge, a dynamic All-State guard from Mexico High School in Missouri, to the Blue Knights' 2025 recruiting class.
Eldridge, a senior standout, was recently named to the Missouri Class 4 All-State Team after an impressive season in which he led Mexico High School to a 23-7 record and a berth in the Elite Eight of the state tournament. A relentless competitor and proven scorer, Eldridge averaged 17.2 points per game and surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his high school career.
Ranked No. 11 at his position in Missouri by Prep Hoops, the 6'3 guard is known for his sharpshooting, high basketball IQ, and leadership. His ability to score in bunches and elevate his team in big moments was a driving force behind Mexico’s postseason success.
“We’re extremely excited to add a player like Jaydon to our program,” said Head Coach Grayson Flittner. “He’s a fierce competitor, a three level scorer, and someone who plays with great energy and toughness. He fits exactly what we’re building here at Olney Central.”
