Olney Central Adds Local Standout Arjay Keller to 2025-26 Roster
Olney, IL – Olney Central College Men’s Basketball is proud to announce the signing of Arjay Keller, a 2024 graduate of Richland County High School. A local product with a strong work ethic and steady scoring ability, Keller brings a blue-collar mentality and team-first approach to the Blue Knights program.
Keller averaged 15.8 points per game during his senior season for the Tigers, serving as a consistent offensive option and a leader on and off the court. Known for his toughness, coachability, and relentless effort, he’s the kind of player who makes those around him better.
“Arjay is a great kid and a hard worker,” said OCC Head Coach Grayson Flittner. “He plays with purpose, doesn’t try to do too much, and consistently makes the right play. We love adding local talent to our program, especially guys like Arjay who’ve earned this opportunity through commitment and character.”
Flittner also noted that Keller reminds him of a former Blue Knight with similar roots.
“He reminds me a lot of Brook Pampe, who I coached here as an assistant,” Flittner said. “Brook was also from Olney and he made the most of his opportunity at this level. Arjay has that same mindset and toughness.”
As Olney Central continues building a competitive and high-character roster for the 2025-26 season, Keller’s addition reflects the program’s belief in finding players who bring grit, pride, and a willingness to grow.
“He deserves a shot to play college basketball, and we’re excited to give him that opportunity right here in his hometown,” Flittner added.
