Coach Burris enters his seventh season as head coach of the women's basketball program and 12th year overall as part of the OCC family. He served for three years as an assistant coach for his brother, Mike, on the men's side before taking over the women's program. Clint also played for former Blue Knights coach Jim Glash from 2003-2005 and was a member of the Region 24 Runners-Up in 2004.
Coach Burris is originally from Owensburg, IN and graduated from Eastern Greene High School where he played under head coach Andy Igel. Clint also was a three year letter winner in golf and a one year letterman in baseball in his time as a Thunderbird. After high school Clint joined the OCC Blue Knights and after two years in Olney he transferred to Weber State University in Ogden, UT where he played for Joe Cravens. After Cravens was released as head coach, Clint transferred to SIU-Edwardsville where he played for head coach Marty Simmons.
Clint graduated from SIU-E with a bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in management.
During his time as head coach, Clint has transformed the women's team into a competitive program in the GRAC and Region XXIV. The Lady Knights and has finished no lower than 5th in the region standings and have reached the Final Four on 3 occasions. This includes a runner-up in the region tournament during the 2011-12 season.
Coach Burris and his wife Michelle married in September of 2012. Together they have one daughter, Peyton, born in September of 2013 and two sons, Carson, born in March of 2015 and Lincoln born in September of 2016.
